iTunes: Mac to PC

Is there a way to move iTunes songs from a Mac to a PC which has latest iTunes app for Windows XP ?

I have tried using flash drives but all I get is a not exportable error. Also tried ethernet cable to no avail.

I guess I could burn a CD, but would rather avoid that if possible.
