Safari, Firefox Slow to load MSN.com on network

Anyone else seen or have an idea about this issue?

Trying to load MSN on a school network is really slow
using either Safari or Firefox. Delay in loading the page
is sometimes 20 - 30 seconds before 1st images on the page start
to appear. Same with almost any link clicked on at MSN.com.

Using Windows and IE or Firfox for Windows on the same network there is
no delay in loading MSN.com.
This is using Windows on the Same Intel Box with Parallels.

I'm only seeing this on one of the school (k-12) networks I work with.
Other networks do not show this slow page loading issue on MSN.com and
links from that page using either Safari or Firefox for Mac.

Network specs:
Gig backbone switch
Switched 10/100
Firewalled with Sonicwall 3060
Cisco 2600 Router.

thanks for help in advance.
