version of Missing Sync are you using? It looks like you're using version 4.0.6, which is old. Perhaps you should try downloading the
latest version.
Corrupted calender/address books/tasks don't sound very likely as a
cause becuase the software won't start - it doesn't crash during syncs,
it simply won't start.

This indicates that Missing Sync attempted to access memory outside of
the area allocated to it. In any application, this is typically the
result of a bug causing the code to construct an invalid pointer to some
data in memory, or corruption in a data file which leads to the same
problem.
..and I am **STILL** waiting for a response from MarkSpace.
Have you tried running Missing Sync using a different user account on
the computer? Perhaps you have something like a corrupted preference
file.
Another possibility might be a damaged conduit (not supplied withI won't start, even with no conduits enabled
Missing Sync).
But what to do about it?
Either of these is likely to affect multiple versions of the
application.
