Corrupted calender/address books/tasks don't sound very likely as a
cause becuase the software won't start - it doesn't crash during syncs,
it simply won't start.
Just for the record, I have removed the software and downloaded and reinstalled 5.1.2 with the following result:

Codes: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE (0x0002) at 0x00000007

This indicates that Missing Sync attempted to access memory outside of
the area allocated to it. In any application, this is typically the
result of a bug causing the code to construct an invalid pointer to some
data in memory, or corruption in a data file which leads to the same
problem.

..and I am **STILL** waiting for a response from MarkSpace.

Have you tried running Missing Sync using a different user account on
the computer? Perhaps you have something like a corrupted preference
file.

The software will start from another user account.
Another possibility might be a damaged conduit (not supplied with
Missing Sync).
I won't start, even with no conduits enabled

Either of these is likely to affect multiple versions of the
application.

But what to do about it?
