How does one find a downloadable copy of "Internet Explorer". I need
the IE to configure my setting for Yahoo's high speed access. IE's
homesites states that they no longer support IE for Macs.
Thanks in advance,

Are you absolutely sure you need IE for this? As the home page for it
states, its development stopped a few years ago and as of some time last
year, AFAIR, MS will not even support it, nor issue ssecurity fixes for
it. It lacks support for many modern standards, and was never a very
good browser for Mac OS X anyway.
Have you tried Safari, Firefox or Camino?
When Yahoo reconfigured their home page (after the football season),
their streaming video (NHL games), which had worked with
Firefox/QT/Flip4Mac, stopped working. The help files said that it
required IE, and when I complained, I received detailed instructions on
clearing my cache in IE5.2.
That's a pretty good reason to find a different source for streams of
sports content. Please let Yahoo know when you've left them, and let
us know what other source you've located.
Hockey is a niche sport, alas. Both Comcast.net and Yahoo have hockey
games but the set of games available only partially overlaps. The only
alternative is TV, and the Center Ice package costs $$$. Well, so does
Comcast, but you get other things than hockey for that. Since I don't
have a Yahoo/SBC DSL account, I can't even make the claim that I'm not
getting content that I'm paying for. On the other hand, I just checked
the highlights page (there are no games currently streaming), and
they've reverted to the Flash/WMP system that they had been using and
that works acceptably (though not perfectly) with Flip4Mac, so I guess
I'm not the only one who complained!
