Can someone send me limewire basic or give me a link besides the main
website wear i can get it, i downloaded it from the main website but
now when i tried to install it, it said it needed to find files that
would help it install but i never finishes. So could someone tell me
how to fix the install problem or could you give me a website besides
the main one wear i can get limewire.
You should contact Limewire about it or use another gnutella client. If
you look for third party sites for download, you are really looking for
trouble.

The problem I had with Limewire was that it would take too long to
populate the list of available peer connections, thus rendering the app
unuseable. This on an OS 9.2.2 system with a 56K modem. It worked much
better a few years back. I'll be looking for an alternative app that
performs the same function as well.

I think you should search versiontracker or web and look for basically
open source (very important on such apps) and somehow cocoa native apps.
For example I keep hearing about Cabos which does have such credentials.

I wouldn't suggest Limewire because of their bad history (including OS
X) and random lack of ethics.
You know, I was a Windows user in 2001 :)

I did find Mactella, and downloaded it, but I have yet to take it for a
spin. If I remember, I'll post about it after I try it.
Thanks,
Eric
