Require a "Subject" before sending a message in Mail

OK, I know this is a stupid one but all my googling has not yielded the
answer... yet.
I would like to have Mail force me, or at least prompt me, to enter a
subject before sending an e-mail message without one. As I recall,
many, many moons ago it used to do so. Or was that Eudora?! (Nah!)
