Mac equivalent to Oscar's Renamer?

I am told that Oscar's Renamer for Windows enables you to open a folder
and list the titles of, say, 30 mp3 files as text. You can then copy a
different list of 30 titles from a separate text document and paste
these new titles over the old titles, thus renaming all of the old
titles at once.

Is there a Mac app that will permit this copy/paste procedure?

I downloaded A Better Finder Renamer and also Renamer4Mac and cannot
get them to do this (possibly because of operator error/ignorance).
Thanks for help.
