That probably means you previously installed it, and it's using that
original installation date as the start of the trial period.

I just downloaded it for the first time. Right out of the box it said
"trial period is over". Maybe that was the developer's (slightly
strange) way of disabling the trial period?

The 1.8 upgrade was released for existing licensees. Brian Clark does
not wish to sell licenses of Thoth anymore.

So if you're hoping to buy a license from him, you are (as we say in
Canada) "shit outta luck" or "SOL".

Let this be a warning should he ever decide to release his 2.0 version.
Don't give him one dime of your money.

Speaking as one who paid for Thoth, bought my license etc ... I seem to
recall there was a limited use built into the app, a sort of
pre-registration demo format that still enabled you to test its
usefulness to you.

Caution: You won't make friends here by asking to circumvent the proper
payment due to an individual who's taken the trouble to write and
support an app - regardless of ad hominem attacks on Brian Clark.

I'm not worried about scumsuckers like Microsoft, but please don't
leech from real people.
