I don't want to create false hope, but maybe something IS moving.
I have just tried to invite a friend to see my webcam by clicking the
webcam button on the message window. It started correctly, connecting to
the server without immediately saying "stopped" to me. The bandwidth
shows the same burst that then falls to zero.
My friend said she didn't get any scripting error, but it looks as if
her yahoo is "waiting for my permission" (my permission should be
automatic since I invited her). Then she gets a "webcam not available"
message, while the lower left corner of the window says "stopped", just
as if I had stopped the broadcasting myself.
YMMV and this doesn't necessarily mean they are fixing it, but they did
change something. Hopefully they're going to make it work again...
Can someone confirm my experience, and can someone check if seeing other
people's webcams work?
