Glitches with Yahoo Messenger

I have always had problems with Yahoo Messenger! I'm new to this
group. Currently I am unable to broadcast my webcam and also unable to
view other webcams. I have an iSight and I do know the cam is working.
Last Tuesday it worked fine. The only thing I did differently was to
accept a yahoo email invitation to web chat with someone that has an
account with sbcglobal.net. In clicking on the "accept" button on the
website I received a strange error message, but unfortunately I did not
copy and paste that for future problem reporting!!

I have twice reloaded messager for OS X.....and I even tried going back
to the one for OS 9, but neither allows me to broadcast or view other
cams.

Can anyone point me to some troubleshooting guidelines? Anyone having
similar problems? I really appreciate any suggestions.
