Moving from PC to Mac. How do I import my iTunes library?

I've just ordered a new Mac (intel Mini) to replace my Windows XP box.
I can easily network them together, but i was unsure of what
files/folders I needed to copy to have iTunes on my mac fully updated
the same as the old PC.
Can someone tell me of the correct procedure please?
Oh. I wanted (if possible) to retain which songs are "checked" for iPod
autosyncing. Is that possible?
