Flip4Mac allows you to use Quicktime to play .wmv and .wma files - I've found that it works well. You can download and get more info from versiontracker.com

There is a Windows Media Player application for the Mac. MS just
announced they've stopped updating it, but it still works fine for now. There is also a plug-in that will let the built-in Quicktime player
software handle these files, and Microsoft has purchased a license that
will let Mac users use the plug-in for free now.
