clickable wheel). As soon as you get one with other controls, you
need drives. On Mac OS as well as Windows.

What context?

You said that mice "just work" out of the box on Windows PCs with no
special drivers.

This is only true if your mouse has no special features. If you get one
of the new kinds of mice that have special gaming-buttons or internet-
buttons, you need to install drivers. Just like on Macs.
