Are you talking about commercially produced DVDs or copied from
commercially produced DVDs? Or are they DVDs of video you shot yourself?

I'm not sure it matters, but they are recordings of shows from my Tivo.
I am currently trying for the n-th time to copy one and it looks like it
is going to work this time.
