I still have gobs of docs from ~ 1989 until 1993 written in Writenow.
Since my next Mac will be an Intel one, I'm beginning to think of a
migration strategy. MacLinkPlus says it can handle Writenow versions
3.0 and 4.0, but I think I have a number of docs from version 2.2
(IIRC), and I'm not sure how to tell them apart.

Yeech. Not sure about Writenow's scritability, but if it isn't, I
guess it'll be manual conversion for me...

WordPerfect 3.5e (the last version, still a free download) runs fine in OS
7.5-10.4, and can read WriteNow docs, I think including v. 2.0 and 2.2. I
don't
know about 3.0 and 4.0. With a third-party utility called MetaMacro, you
could
open every doc in a folder and save them as RTF in one step. WP program,
MetaMacro and other stuff at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/wordperfectmac/

Interesting. Thanks for the advice.
