Retrospect Duplicate ?s

Using: Retrospect v6, OS X 10.3.9, PB G4.

I'm reviewing my backup and restore procedures. While doing so, I found
that a Duplicate of my hard drive that was created by Retrospect's
Duplicate operation did not act like an exact duplicate.

I ran Retrospect from my internal HD and Duplicated that internal drive
to an external FW drive.

I then booted from the external FW drive (from the duplicate of my
drive).

When I did so, all seemed fine except one of the first things I noticed
when testing a couple of apps was that Now Up To Date's views had all
changed the font selected. And when I went to look at the font that it
changed to, American Typewriter, I noticed the font I had it set at,
Palatino, was not on the list of fonts. As a matter of fact quite a few
fonts were not available in Now Up To Date.

Curious if there is an explainable reason for this?

Thanks for any tips.
