Yes, I saw there was a filemaker trial, but was a bit daunted by the price.

Yes I came from a PC background, but I'm certainly not complaining about the
Mac - it was my idea to change<g>. I'm not in the educational line, but will
probably look out for an older version of FM as you suggest.
