When you use GC's Browser, it may add preview images to all the photos in the
folder. If you don't want that, go to the Browser Preview preferences and
either uncheck the "Create automatically" option, or select the "Always
temporary" option. You might also want to check the "Don't create if EXIF
preview available" option.
