This sort of thing can help a bit but drive a person crazy having
to do it all the time...
My help files have worked better since the very latest update to
Tiger.
And I have turned off "include product support searches" as I am
on dialup and this slows things down...
Still, the thing is a very poor show.
Apple need to rethink the whole thing. Gee, it is simple enough
for goodness sake! Plain and simple website would be fine. When
you get an OS, the help menu should open your preferred browser
and that would be that! Browsers work! How to make a good website
iare easily bought skills. Fancy pants ill thought out software
like the present one does not.
You could view offline by having all the files on your machine.
For updates, the update software should update the website files
on the machine.
