Labels & Envelopes by Chronos

<sigh> I'm back. Not in tears, though. Yet.

iBook G4. OS 10.4.2 EpsonR300 printer.

Anyone use the subject app? I used MacLabelPro v1.74 or earlier for 14
years and know it well. I can't use it on my iBook. Seems to be a
printing problem and the guys at First Tech in Mpls can't make it print
for me and they're good so I bought Labels & Envelopes. Installed it
while I was still at First Tech. Did a quick little putzing with it and
went home. There's a feature in the app called a Graphics Drawer. I've
seen it on my screen. It is no longer on my screen, having been
replaced by a padlock (which I can unlock or lock, seemingly ast will,
depending on the 'mode' I'm in. Padlock sits next to an uppercase
letter T. I cannot make the damn thing go away and I can't get the damn
Drawer back and the damn insert-a-picture thing doesn't work, either.
Dammit!

I need to make labels and I don't want to do it from Avery's website.
I'm so frustrated I could spit. I posted to Chronos' (software company)
L&E discussion board and the post has been viewed but no one has
proffered any help, Chronos wants $10 for a tech support call and I'd
just as soon not do that unless and until I've exhausted other avenues
for help.

I've just uninstalled it. There are two disks; one to install the app
and stuff (like 13,000+ items) and the other to install the clip art
(more than 18,000 items). The first disk has an uninstaller and I used
that. The second disk does not have an uninstall option so I left
things alone--I don't know where to find them anyway! Check that - I
found (using Spotlight) a Chronos folder in my Applications Support
folder - and the two folders in THAT folder are both empty. What do you
suppose that means?

I poked around and found the Chronos Installer log for the clip art and
it looks like about 18,000+ pieces of stuff were installed.

Do I need to figure out how to get rid of those before re-installing the
application and the stuff on the first disk?

Crap!!
