Shows just what a POS OSX is - Windows runs better on a Mac than OSX!!

The latest Mac Pro models with Nehalem-based Intel Xeon processors
reportedly suffer a 20 percent performance hit when playing audio in Mac OS
X, users have reported.

Highlighted by Ars Technica, the issue applies to both early 2009 and late
2009 Mac Pro models. When playing audio through iTunes or a number of other
applications, users have seen CPU temperatures double, while performance
can
take a serious hit.

eliminates
the issue, leading some to believe the issue is related to power management

Much more good mac bashing stuff........

Where are the usual suspect Chance Furlong and ZnU to
comment on this. They seem to like picking apart problems with
Windows systems yet they're oddly silent on this issue.

Err... is picking apart hardware problems with specific models of Wintel
machine something I frequently do? I hadn't noticed that. My position on
these sorts of hardware glitches is that they happen to every vendor now
and then, nobody ever remembers or cares six months later, hardly anyone
ever switches platforms in either direction because of them, and they're
not really relevant to the broader advocacy topics I'm primarily
interested in.

That's some of the best hand waving ZnU has ever done!

Denial runs deep too!
