Luckily I only paid $30 for my FULL retail version of professional.
Now I'm getting Ultimate Full for about $40. The maximum I'll go is $50 for this bid.
Why do you need another copy? I thought you only had one Windows
machine.
I don't. My parents do.
My mom has a HP (dv6000) laptop I bought her for mothers's day - running Vista Home.
I want to put it to 7 Ultimate and enable Bitlocker's full HD encryption. She travels and laptops like to get stolen.
Then there's the desktop machine I built them which was running Vista Ultimate. I stole that copy of Vista from the Action Pack at the last place I worked. It is now running 7 Professional - the $30 one I keep bragging about. Its a 3.0Ghz Core 2 Duo with a RAID 1. It will eventually be replaced by an iMac either 21.5 or 27" depending on when I actually make the purchase. I usually get refurbs.
