endless scrolling. After purchasing a 13" Macbook Pro my netbooks tend
to gather dust as the Macbook Pro provides better screen resolution,

every laptop i've bought has been smaller than the last. i had a
couple 15.4" laptops, then a 14", now i have a 13" macbook. i had to
get used to the scrolling w/ this compared to the others. but my next
laptop will probably be a high resolution 10" netbook. something like
a dell mini 10, which you can get with 1366x768 resolution (vs the
macbook's 1280 x 800).
The
Macbook Pro comes in perhaps 1 lbs. heavier but the advantages in use
(better performance, larger screen, keyboard and trackpad) far out
weight the size and weight difference. There is nothing wrong with the
Netbooks if that is what you can afford but I'll take the 13" Macbook
Pro any day over any Netbook presently on the market.
for many (most?) people, it has very little with only being able to
afford a netbook- you can get better performing, larger screen laptops
for under $400 just about any week (best buy is advertising a 3gb ram,
dual core, dvd writiin', 15.6" laptop for $399 this week)- the form
factor is very appealing.
