I have a camera that also takes videos. Sometimes I hold the
camera sideways. How do you rotate the videos once they are
in iMovie?

I would suggest BitPlayer: <http://tanjero.com/>. QuickTime
Pro also does it, as do some other utilities, but BitPlayer
is free and easy to use.

Thank you! Does exactly what I wanted.

No problem... that, at its best, is what CSMA is about. But you
have thanked me and will be treated to the "dark side" of the
forum... be prepared to be called my sock puppet or shill by
some of the more insane members of CSMA. :)

Because you helped me or because I thanked you?

A little of both, I suppose. CSMA is always a little... odd... but
right now Steve Carroll, who has been enraged with me for years
over an event he now denies even happened, is having a mental
breakdown. He and his "clique" (and some others) targeted JohnQ
who noted he was not happy that Snow Leopard does not support PPC
machines that were released 3 prior. He was accused of being an
idiot for getting old tech. I jumped in to note how Steve Carroll
took the exact opposite position when I was looking to buy the
then-new aluminum iMacs... he repeatedly told me *not* to get it,
in part because I should not, he said, get new technology - stick
with the old.

Steve denied he tried to talk me out of getting the iMac... so I
pulled up the quotes to prove he did:

Steve Carroll:
If speed is "central" to your "NEEDS" you shouldn't be buying
an iMac at all.

[My old computer was a G4... speed was a *big* reason for my need
to upgrade]

Steve Carroll:
You "need" for a Mac doesn't look like a "need" at all.

Steve Carroll:
Teaching, web design and tech work are performed on non-Mac
PCs all the time.

Steve Carroll:
What things are you "teaching" or do you plan to "teach" on
OSX that can *not* be taught on a PC?

Steve Carroll:
As to other types of showstoppers... v.1 is always a bit of
a crap shoot.

On and on. Well, this was enough to push Steve over the edge.
Since I had the audacity to get and like the computer he told me
not to get, and was so rude as to publicly talk about it, he is
now talking about how he is trying to get me fired. You see, he
and his friends tracked me down to my place of employment, and
Steve is now claiming I am an imposter to the person he and his
friends figured out I am... which, of course, makes no sense. But
under the pretense of wanting to "out" me being an imposter, he
is saying he is going to contact my employer and take his
trolling out of CSMA. Yeah... utterly insane. If he really did
forget I was the person he and his friends tracked me down to be
(which is a bizarre claim of his anyway), he could just email me
at my work address, which he has made clear he has tracked down.
His goal is to get me fired... for buying and liking a computer
he told me not to get.

He hates being proved wrong. Read recent posts by Steve Carroll
and his friends: Sandman, Wally, and Tim Adams. Let them explain
their "side". It is, to say the least, a good way to see how
insane they are.

If you respond to them and question them, be prepared to be deemed
evil and called all sorts of names. And for goodness sake, do not
let them know *anything* about your real life. I have no idea if
the name you are posting under is your real name. Do not let them
know one way or the other. Do not tell them where you live. They
will target you and your personal life if you question them.

And welcome to CSMA. :)

Sounds like his side might be amusing. Steve?

A feel another "mistake" or "joke" coming from "Snit" any minute
now... or that he "forgot" he told you he wasn't reading my posts.

What would prevent him from reading some of your posts but not
others?

"I have not been reading his posts... but might in this case." - Snit

What would prevent you from acknowledging the fact that Snit lied to
you when he said that after he posted a bunch of links that proves he
reads my posts?

I'll venture it'll be the same thing that prevents you from
acknowledging the other lies he's told you.

When was he not reading your posts? When was he? Why do you care?
