Tomorrow the list will be longer.

After installing MacOS10.5.8 I can't open any of the DMG files that I'm
downloading from the internet.
I can.
"After installing the 10.5.8 update bluetooth references says: bluetooth
"off". the box for checking "on" is greyed out. I use bluetooth for Mighty
Mouse only, which is useless now
I can.
"Now that I've updated to OS X Leopard 10.5.8, the Time Capsule Window opens
every time I boot my computer."
Mine doesn't.
It freezes on the white startup screen with the Apple logo in the middle (no
spinning icon). Tried to startup in single user mode: After several messages
ending with "Loading drivers..." followed by 7 lines of dots followed by
"Couldn't get file info."
Mine doesn't
Am I the only one with iCal problems? It launches but does not find my
calendars; will not allow me to import or add calendars; and must be
force-quit. I deleted the preference file but that did not help.
I have no iCal problems.
The Updater was like a snail checking for new software!
Mine's pretty fast, just like it always is.
I too, have been unable to connect of the internet using Airport Extreme
without connecting the power adapter to a power source.
I can.
As described in this Apple Discussion thread, in some instances the 10.5.8
update seems to not be properly linked to the permissions database, which is
resulting in permissions output warnings such as the following:
Mine doesn't

should be ?--------- , they are -rw-r--r-- .
A lot of marginally computer literate people load their computer up with crap
that they've downloaded from the internet. It worked fine when they
downloaded it, but what they don't know is that this crap was incompetently
written by hack coders who merely messed with the code until it worked on
whatever version of OSX they were using, then they post it to the world.
Apple changes something with a new OS update, and suddenly, this little
utility or whatever is interfering with the OS and something breaks. They
don't have the knowledge or experience to troubleshoot their computers and so
they end up posting to sites like MacFixIt. I'll wager that a good 90% of all
update problems stem from this type of activity.
