This is wrong. Unless disabled, Windows UAC would not allow the application to be installed without prompting. No?

Yes, they do. They are stupid. It prompts a lot more on a new PC when one is installing a lot of software, but it calms down. I think more will leave it alone in Windows 7.

Yes. I have two locks on my front door, but I can leave them unlocked when I go out if I so desire. Same for my car alarm.
