I vaguely recall noticing a similar script / spider run hitting my
website a year or so ago that was coming from Michael Glasser's IP
address.

In looking briefly at your log, I see that the Glasser has shifted IP
addresses. Since my policy is to block all suspect spiders and robots
(many have been coming from Russia & Eastern Europe ... trolling
computers for email addresses to then phish), Mister Prescott has now
aligned himself with these unethical and likely illegal activities.

But it's a crappy script as far as flooding goes - most requests are
"HEAD" requests, which just sends over the headers for the given url,
not the page itself. This is the trademark of a webpage "sucking"
application, that is set to download an entire web page.

And is likely a violation of 'Fair Use' on copyrighted material - -
especially when there's multiple copies filling up his HD.

I'm sure Snit
imagine that setting such a script to do that over and over again
would put a lot of stress on my web server, possibly disrupting my
business, but he wasn't aware that such a script/application doesn't
download information unless the page has changed, so it will do a HEAD
request forst to check if it has changed, and then download it if it
has - that's why most requests are HEAD requests, that doesn't stress
the server at all, really.

That would be a purposeful and malicious activity, which is usually
banned by local ISPs. Recommend that you notify his ISP, and include
a URL link to that file.

He sure begs for my attention a lot.

He begs for attention from anyone that will give any.

It is a shame that this loser has nothing better to do with his life.
He obviously reads every post looking for something for some sort of
interaction...I'd not be surprised if he were to start to search for
blind directories on various websites, or contrive some vast
conspiracy if he were to stumble across "pcguy", "csma", "snit",
"fun", "pron", "cdet", "l33t", "blog", "etc", etc, as a lame attempt
to justify his waste of life and waste of time.

The only good news seems to be that as of late, mentioning his wife's
child care center seems to be enough (currently) to keep him away from
a discussion. So what its name again?
