Meh. When your guy has a longer resume, you claim the other guy is
unqualified. When the other guy has a longer resume, you claim he's a
"Washington insider" and run on a reform message. The truth is, once
someone demonstrates a basic competence with national issues, judgement
and temperament matter far more than length of resume.
So when is Obama going to demonstrate this "basic competence with
national issues, judgement and temperament..." So far all he's done
is parrot what he's been told by his handlers. In fact, really, all
anyone has seen him do is write and talk.
You mean, see that he's one of the most articulate and level-headed
politicians of the modern era?
Also, you don't appear to have parsed that sentence correctly.
[snip]
And during the primary his
support slowly built over time, which doesn't work with your theory. If
it were race-based it would have been there from the start. It's not as
if he only recently turned black.
You're not paying attention. Had he been white, with his attitudes,
background and personal baggage, he would have never made it to the
primary.
What catapulted Obama onto the public stage was the truly exceptional
speech he gave at the 2004 Democratic convention.
That may have brought him to the attention of the "powers-that-be" in the
Democratic party, but what got those behind the scene to to decide to run him
was that he was a black man who they could "rig" for the job. The fact
remains that had he been white, we never would have heard of this guy. He
simply is NOT qualified for the job and his background, personal
philosophies, and shady associations with known Marxists, terrorists and
black racists, simply disqualifies him. In other words, if there were a
"loyalty test" for Presidential candidates, he wouldn't pass it.
I'll give him this, he's been well handled, well prepped, and superbly
coached to press all of the right buttons of those in this country who are
left-wing or "disenfranchised" (the core of the Democratic party's
electorate).
Sorry, you're confused. We're not talking about the Moose-shooting,
beauty-contest-winning, wink-at-America-on-national-TV lightweight the
Republicans are offering up as a Vice President. We're talking about the
Harvard Law graduate, community organizer, constitutional law professor
who has played a key role in significant legislation in the Senate. The
idea that someone with Obama's resume is simply an empty suit being fed
lines by others is utterly laughable.
It might be laughable to YOU, but to me its scary. This "community organizer"
organized a Marxist's campaign in Chigago. And his "significant legislation"
is to vote "Present" more than any other senator in Congress. He's done
nothing, he is nothing, and I refuse to believe that the people of this
country is stupid enough to elect a president who is so left wing.
[snip]
You know we used to have a class of people in this country called
"Statesmen". Where are they now besides dead and gone. The best
people in this country don't seem to want to help run her any more
and we end-up with the likes of Bush, MacCain, Palin, Obama, Biden,
Pelosi, et all. What a sad state of affairs.
Who was it who once said: "A country usually ends up with the kind of
government it deserves"? What the hell have we done to deserve this
lot?
Obama is the closest thing to a statesman we've seen on the national
stage in a generation.
That's like a car dealer saying that a Yugo is the closest thing to
Rolls-Royce we have on this used car lot. They both have 4-wheels, but...
Besides how can an America-hating Marxist, racist traitor be a "statesman" ?
There's nothing to reply to in the above post. It has no content.
Literally every line of it is a long-debunked right-wing talking point.
