Holding at May levels.

qpct=3&qpc...
timeframe=M&qpsp=112

Those figures only count when they show an increase for Mac OS X.

No, they count all the time, Edwin.

And they show that Mac OS X is being used more and more and more...

Yeah OS X usage is really blowing up!!!! It's up to a whopping 2%
worldwide. LOL WOOOOOW!!!!!

7.83% according to the article in the OP. 7.99% if you include the
iPhone.

He's talking worldwide.

Well what geographical location does these reports cover?

The United States. If you browse the site, all that info is there. You
have to pay for the WW stats.

I see no indication the statistics it provides for free are for the
United States only. I do see this:

<quote>
The websites in our population represent dozens of countries in regions
including North America, South America, Western Europe, Australia /
Pacific Rim and Parts of Asia.

Plus, the report for search engines lists regional variations separately
- e.g. Google UK at 8.75% - which would seem to suggest the free reports
*are* indeed worldwide figures, not US only:

http://marketshare.hitslink.com/report.aspx?qprid=6

But you can get them if you Google.

Yes, I know there are other stat gathering services that report very
different (and not so Apple flattering) numbers to those of Net
Applications, but still there is no indication that the reason for this
discrepancy is because they limit theirs to the US where others do not.

So, where do you get the idea their figures are for US only?
