It's not exactly home user software.

Fully supporting it? All you showed is Mac OS X clients and
developer
tools.

Here's the Orcle Windows Server System Center:

http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/windows/index.html

Where's the Mac OS X Server System Center?

http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/cs/index.html

Where's the Collaboration Suite for Mac OS X?

Shall we go on?
Oracle only runs on Windows, Linux and Unix. It doesn't run under OS
X, period.

But I'm sure companies using Oracle can re-write everything to use
MySQL instead, so that they can run it on Xserve and lower their TCO.
hahahahaha

Oh, Steve...

<http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/macos/index.html>

"Oracle Database-on-Mac OS X Technology Center
updated April 24, 2008

Oracle Database 10g and Oracle JDeveloper 10g are fully certified on
Mac
OS X. Turn your Mac into a full-fledged development environment and
deploy Xserve-based grids using the software and resources on this
page."
You're really driving home the fact you don't understand anything you
read
at Oracle's site.
Really?
Definitely.

Steve said, "Oracle only runs on Windows, Linux and Unix. It doesn't
run under OS X, period." and I showed he was wrong.
No you didn't. All you showed was Mac OS X clients.
BZZZZZZT.

"Downloads

...

Oracle Database 10g Release 1 (10.1.0.3)"

Not the client, the database.

Now go buy a used PPC Xserve on eBay to run it. You really proved the Mac "relevant" to business. LOL

And if that isn't enough:

"Oracle Database-on-Mac OS X Technology Center
updated April 24, 2008

OS X. Turn your Mac into a full-fledged development environment and

Again, not the client. You wouldn't be running the client on Xserve's
now would you?

PPC Xserves. Nothing but clients and developer stuff otherwise.

That web page is updated April 24, 2008 but the Oracle 10g is from 2004.

Read the install guide on that page - "Oracle Database Quick Installation Guide 10g Release 1 (10.1.0.3) for Apple Mac OS X"

http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/macos/index.html

I quote excerpts below:

"Quick Installation Guide

10g Release 1 (10.1.0.3) for Apple Mac OS X

Part No. B13954-01

December 2004

The operating system version must be Apple Mac OS X Server 10.3.6"

That's it. No need to quote any more. OS X 10.3.6 was PPC only.
