What does Canon have to do with this? Alan was talking about the speed of USB card readers vs. built-in card readers, not the speed of hooking a camera up via USB.

BTW, I haven't seen anyone post a cite to anything documenting how HP's internal card reader works. How do we know it is not USB? Some manufacturers do use USB for internal devices.

Yes, let's go round and around, and spin this topic endlessly, going in all directions, to avoid the real issue: there is no card reader on Macs and there is no good reason why they are not there.
