Re: Steve Carroll proves he cannot understand what he reads. Again.

"Steve Carroll" <trollkiller@xxxxxx> stated in post
trollkiller-CF6642.08002305062008@xxxxxxxxxxxxx on 6/5/08 7:00 AM:

You are, of course, lying. Here are some examples of you claiming to know
what specific Mac John was referencing:

That's a lie... as anyone who can comprehend what he reads can plainly
see.

"Actually"... the term John used was "his machine"... and in
using that term he was referencing Steve DeMena's "machine.
Notable is the fact that the only "machine" (singular) Steve
referenced up until the point John wrote the term "his
machine" was Steve's MBP. People who can comprehend what they
read and who understand the concept of context will all
rightfully assume that John was talking about Steve's MBP.
Context is the key here... which is why you are so confused;)

and:

Wrong, glueboy... it was "hand picked" from this thing called
the "context" that the previous conversation took place in,
where the only Mac referenced up until that point was Steve's
MBP. You can't grasp this because you don't understand what
"context" is... this fact is not exactly a state secret;)

Notice how you insist you know it was the "MPB" that John referenced when he
specified a "machine" in the set "Macs" with the characteristic of having an
unsupported eSATA card.

As I told you earlier, I can't "Notice" something that doesn't exist.
What I said was shown above in what you quoted. I'll now isolate it for
the people who can't comprehend what they read (that means *you*):

"People who can comprehend what they read and who understand the concept
of context will all rightfully assume that John was talking about
Steve's MBP."

Your faulty reading comprehension has let you down... again;)

So you *are* claiming to know what specific machine John was in reference
to... and you assume it was the MPB. Which shows you cannot understand what
you read.

A quick test for you, based on a hypothetical conversation:

Person A: The best of US President to ever live is Ronald Reagan

Person B: You have claimed more presidents are the "best" in the
last six months than anyone else I know!

Person C: Before he was talked about his president who illegally
overthrew Iraq as the "best"!

Ok, now for the test: keeping in mind that the only president mentioned by
name was Reagan, what president is person C in reference to?

My answer: Person C did not mention a specific president by name but he did
specified a specific characteristic which leads a reasonable person to
understand what president he mean (Bush II in case you could not figure it
out).

If you were to stay consistent you would say:

"Actually"... the term Person 3 used was "his president"...
and in using that term he was referencing Person 1's
"president. Notable is the fact that the only "president"
(singular) Person 1 referenced up until the point Person 3
wrote the term "his president" was "Ronald Reagan". People
who can comprehend what they read and who understand the
concept of context will all rightfully assume that Person 3
was talking about "Ronald Reagan". Context is the key here...
which is why you are so confused;)

Notice the truth-value of Bush II illegally overthrowing Iraq need not even
be agreed to for it to be clear that your claims (if you were to remain
consistent) of Person 3 referencing Bush II in his comments.

You simply were not able to understand what you read. It is that simple,
Steve, and yet you keep spewing hate filled lies, drug accusations, etc.,
based on your complete and utter ignorance. Oh well.
