Actually, Jeff Goldblum was using a "Hollywood GUI" that resembled
the old Mac OS in some ways. And Chris is right. The movie was a junk
remake of "War of the Worlds" and was nothing more than another lousy
Hollywood "Bubblegummer." All modern movies are garbage made by
people who's only talent is stringing together scenes of computer
graphics for an adolescent audience with the attention span of a
chimp and the education to match. Hollywood hasn't made a decent
movie since the 1960's

You say you do not see Crystal Skull and its GIMP goodness but then you
claim it is not good and that PHOTOSHOP can do what it can? Do you see why
you do not make sense in that way?
