So of the nine, six are windowed... and half of those quit when the last
window is closed.
That does not speak well of consistency in how windows work on a Mac...
I don't think consistency is as important as logic. If there is no
reason for a process to remain active after closing the last window it
can quit. What bugs me is when you can't close the last window without
quitting, even if a process is still running. It's not an OS thing, more
a developer thing.
