And never left your Apple engineered iPod connected to it when you
restarted (it hangs the system).

Their quality sadly doesn't seem to be as good these days...

I have a Powermac G5, the early 1.8Ghz single processor version and an
Intel powered Mini, as well as one of the early iPods.

Almost no problems with any of them, nor with the other much older macs
I have had over the years.

The only problem I have had that is irritating is Leopard and my G5
Powermac. It seems that some people, me included, are having issues
with the two together. But then it is a 4 year old machine and an early
design. Expecting Leopard to not have an issue or two with it would be
like asking Vista to not have problems with 4+ year old wintel boxes.

But isn't that the whole idea behind the "whole widget", that since they speced' out all the parts, it should "just work", right? ...
