My, what a "honor", to be the FIRST laptop to tumble in a security
contest, and in only a few seconds of work.
Well, twenty four hours and a few seconds, after the rules of the
contest were relaxed.
C'mon. He didn't just "discover" this hole in two minutes. He
already knew he could do it. The rules were that any exploit had to
be unpublished. So that meant not using any of the half-dozen or more
unpatched Vista exploits that are known.
But that doesn't stop
macintards from worshiping Jobs and his prized monoliths. After all,
macs still have great curves, funky colors, and windows that go swoosh.
(p. s. may I suggest next time the Mac team decorate their PC with a
pretty dress, to make its security HOLES look sexier. ROAFL!)
Tell us, 'tard, what was the prize for winning the contest?
Apparently $10,000 and the MacBook Air he cracked. He's a Mac user.
Supposedly very familiar with the platform.
A Vista notebook went down on day 3. Apparently the winner only got
$5000.
