There we have it. Over 14 months after release of Vista
Microsoft
will
release SP1 whicdh provides fixes for HUNDREDS of SERIOUS
problems.
We
Mac
owners are awaiting the iminent release of 10.5.2 only 3 months
after
release of Leopard.

How to tell when John is making things up: CAPITAL LETTERS.

Wait. Don't tell us: you got your information from a Microsoft
insider...

LOL

As usual your idiotic self is as clueless as ever. It's well known
that
SP1
contains many fixes and any competent person knows that.

How did this fact get to become "well known", John? What was the
source
of this information?

Heres one of a hundred or so:

And that proves that it's "well known" that SP1 "fixes for HUNDREDS of
SERIOUS problems", how?

Did you go to the Microsoft website linked in that article and download
the "partial" fix list"? All 47 pages of it.

I couldn't download it, the link to download it did nothing in Safari. But
I imagine there are enhancements there too.

Steve

I was able to download onto my Vista machine and open the Word file in Word
2007. The 74 Page document includes SOME enhancements but not all. I
didn't see the picture downloading improvement for example on that list even
though it is in SP1. According to Microsoft the document is only a PARTIAL
list of fixes and changes in SP1.

And what if it is?

If it bears out your claim of "HUNDREDS of SERIOUS problems", quote a
couple of them.
