And you winders types like to come here and troll, and we love to
respond in like manner.

Us "winders" types love to make fun of you Mactards for a blind
allegience
to a platform that offers little, if anything, over the competition
while
costing more.

It offers a great deal over winders. Nothing that you would admit as
an
advantage but...

Your argument is nothing more than "It's different therefore it's
better".
Sorry, that ain't going to cut it. When you can provide something other
than
"I like it this way" then we can talk. Until then you're paying more and
getting less.

As I said, nothing you'd admit as an advantage.

Different, by itself, isn't an advantage. So you're right, I won't accept
it.

It's functionality windows ain't got. Sheesh, I tried to give the most
simple trivial examples so even a PC Boi could understand 'em.

1) System services, example: text to speech available for any document.
Highlight text and select text to speech. You're computer is proof
reading the document back too you. May seem trivial but having the
computer proof read a document is very handy.

2) Save as .pdf. I have many receipts and web pages saved as .pdf.
All
indexed for easy find via Spotlight. This is available to any app
built
into Mac OS X.

3) With windows you are stuck with it's app centric menu driven
interface. With a Mac you _can_ use it as an app centric menu driven
interface if you want but it's also a full blown GUI, very easy drag
and
drop via the dock.

Let's use a mac as an app centric interface and count the clicks.
Mac: To start word processor click icon on dock...1 click.

Windows: no std way to do this so I will run through several
variations.

a) click start button. From this point on several branches are
available...so at least 1+ clicks.

b) click reveal desktop, hunt around till you find shortcut and
click...2 clicks and a hunt.

c) You're smarter that most winders users and put your most used apps
on
the left side of the task bar. Click on app (if your lucky) or most
likely click >> and scroll up to a list of apps. 1+ click unless you
are lucky.

Now, let's try a full blown GUI by manipulating a document with an app
that is not it's default.

Mac: Drag file to icon on dock. One motion.

Windows: Carefully arrange the app and the document so they are side by
side...bleah, most likely you'll abandon all pretense windows is a GUI
and use the awesome right click and Open with...Choose program..etc.

These are simple everyday examples that make the Mac a breeze to use.

Let me know if you need more.

P.S this was proof read before posting via Max OS X Leopard running on
a
G4 933 with a little more than 700 things of ram. :)

-That's the bottom line.
