Ah, err, Tommy, old buddy, haven't you read the "other" news. HD DVD has
lost the format war. It's toast, finished, gone. Toshiba has canceled
its CES press conferences after Warner jumped ship. Of the six major
studios only two remain supporting the HD DVD format and they will soon
follow Warner's lead. So what are those 17 million XBox owners going to
do with their now obsolete equipment.
And by the way is Microsoft still losing money hand-over-fist with the
XBox? How many billions have they lost on it so far?
