OK, I'll bite... how can a KB article prove your statement above? Did
the article reference a page in the WVRK Book that you're not talking?

Tim Adams pointed to your statement I just quoted above... if that's a

I have found a reference in the Windows XP Professional Resource Kit by Microsoft (since it has a more comprehensive index I was able to locate it in 20 seconds.

From Page 545 third paragraph: "Quick Format" 2nd sentence: "If the volume
IS ALREADY FORMATTED you can use this option. If quick format fails perform the format again without using this option.




So there we fucking have it you INCOMPETENT amateurs. Yet another reference has proved me correct. So you morons that have been using quickformat all these years really are technically incompetent.


I'll try and locate the reference also in the Vista Resource guide but it is hard without a usable index.
