Couldn't - it froze up. Tried again - froze up again.
Went back to my XP Dell, works great.

It must suck living in your world.....

It's great for me to be living in my world. I have a Buddy Davis boat
and
a Pathfinder (boat) - I drive a Ferrari and several other cars, I drink
expensive and great bottles of wine, daily, I eat at the best
restaurants
in the World, I have a home on Jupiter Island and one on Long Island, I
piss money away like water and can't outspend myself. Yes - it must
suck
for you to live in my world.

As usual Zara is still living a life of delusion(in addition to technical
incompetence)

At least he knows how to format a hard disk, Fucktard.

Not true. He fails to follow the Microsoft KB article that Snit posted
over in the installed harddisk thread that clearly stated that full format
was for new disks and quick format for old disks which HAD PREVIOUSLY been
full formatted. As usual with your poor reading comprehension you missed
that. And no I am not going to waste time looking it up for your LAZY ASS.

I wonder if Apple has a similar KB article. I did find this article on
erasing a drive:
<http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=Mac/10.5/en/8493.html>. It
makes no mention of different types of formatting (or erasing). The article
does say to look at the help of Disk Utilities... and it makes no mention of
saying one type of "erase" is preferred over another - just describes what
they are. It does talk about why and when you would want to do an erase
that would write over the drive but does not say you should do so just to
install the OS.

What do you call people who are afraid of Santa Claus? Claustrophobic.

The Microsoft KB article just suggests a full disk check so that you
don't end up losing data because of bad sectors on the disk. Disk
Utility doesn't seem to care and just creates the file system, the
same thing a Quick Format on Windows does.
