My support, many non-CMSA initiated comparisons:

Your support... non-existent? If not, well, what is it? Do you have any
support?

LOL! You make the mistake of starting with the Mac as the baseline
instead of starting with the features that are desired as the
baseline.

Of course... but it's the only argument that *can* be made when trying
to compare prices between Macs and other PCs. There really are no other
choices but to go to the land of direct comparison and I believe it's a
huge reason why the Mac is owned by a relative few. I've done my own
research and I've come to the conclusion that I can buy or build a
comparable PC for less money. I reject the notion that people don't
research this stuff for themselves (which is what I see claimed on this
ng all too often).

When looking at comparable systems the Mac generally does well

Depends on who is doing the looking and how they define "well".

Sure... but in most non-CSMA initiated comparisons the Mac does very well.
The mass of data available supports my view.

I don't think the Mac fares all that well on price... and I'm OK with that.

And yet you still buy them? Why? Do you think you get a good value for
your money?
