never see a penny on their shaky claim. Besides the Newton already had

I didn't read the part where a judge decided Apple infringed on their
patent had to pay them royalties to use "their" technology. Could you
point me to that part of the story?

The exact same thing was said when Tibco sued Apple.

That was a trademark infringement case, not a patent dispute.
