The idea behind being a good troll is having a way out opinion that
is sure to provoke an emotional response. The idea behind being a
good troll is not to make yourself look like a complete idiot.
A good troll would say something like Mac Sux...Windows Rulz, not
two plus two equals five.
another planet?
So are you saying that most laptop batteries wouldn't last longer if
you turned off Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, dim the screen, and kept the hard
drive spun down?
No!
Didn't you read what was written?
I said; "macBooks seem to be the only laptops with consistent low
battery problems. None of the other manufactures have this issue.

"When Aero is turned off, battery life is equal to or better than
Windows XP systems. But with it turned on, battery life suffers compared
with Windows XP...Laptop users who spent extra money on powerful laptops
to handle the graphics requirements of Vista and the Aero interface are
forced to run the aesthetic equivalent of Vista Basic, the low-cost
version of Vista, if they care about battery life."

""Vista demands more computer resources for a given application than XP
does. So you need a heavier battery, or you will have shorter battery
life because of the greater demand for watts," said Phil Hester, chief
technology officer of Advanced Micro Devices, in remarks made at the
company's annual analyst day in New York last week."

Laptop PC users who upgrade to Microsoft Corp.'s Windows Vista may have
to disable some of the new operating system's flashy graphics features
to avoid seeing a decrease in battery life compared to what they were
accustomed to with Windows XP.
The drop will come from the extra power needed to run the high-end
processors, graphics cards and memory capacity required to support
Vista. Microsoft has designed the new operating system to deliver novel
visual effects such as translucent "Aero" windows on the desktop
interface and improved performance as a digital media hub. The business
version of Vista was released last month and the consumer version is due
out next month.
I get it. Leopard is like VISTA.
low
battery problems. None of the other manufactures have this issue.
I don't have a dog in this fight other than to prove you wrong....which I
just did.
Not really. The macs run out of battery much sooner than PC's running
VISTA. Read your own link.
