"Don't give up on Vista"...
LOL
And, oh yeah!
"Style and aesthetic taste change over time; what was hot in the '80s or
'90s, or cool in the '50s or '60s, can look downright laughable today
(as does everything from the '70s). But when it comes to technology,
there was no aesthetic taste or style until less than a decade ago. Tech
hardware looked like it was designed by the left-brained engineers that
developed it. PCs were beige, software user interfaces were boxy and
ugly, and no one complained because we simply didn't know they could be
anything else.
In 1998, a struggling Apple Computer, Inc. released the iMac G3, an
all-in-one desktop PC that was roughly the size of the CRT monitors we
were all using back then. And instead of beige, the iMac was
translucent "Bondi-blue" plastic. Computers could be translucent? In
colors named after beaches?! The geeks were stunned. Apple's been
sexing up technology and fusing the design and tech worlds together
ever since, with attractive and innovative hardware like the iPod, iMac
G4, Power Mac Cube, iPod nano, and the iPhone."
PCWorld must just be a bunch of "Maccies", huh?
:-)
Could be, but you referenced an article at PC Magazine, not at PC
World Magazine, Doofus.
Yup. My bad.
It happened because you don't bother to check your facts before you
post.
"With this iteration of the Apple Mac mini, you're still buying a Mac,
with all the benefits and drawbacks. It will have less security
problems than a Windows machine, and probably run better. But you also
have to learn the quirks of Mac OS X, and it's less compatible with
some programs and peripherals unless you install Boot Camp and
Windows. Though the Mac mini still is a compelling choice, Windows
systems in this price range are finally comparably compact, and they
offer more or better features such as media card readers, larger hard
drives, and faster processors. Steve Jobs better have something
amazing in his pocket for the next announcement. The competition has
caught up to the Mac mini."

Which is hardly an indictment.
It's from the authority you deferred to.
"But the iPhone isn't called the iPod With Phone. It's the iPhone and,
put simply, it isn't a very good phone. Call quality was the worst
we've heard on a high-end device in years. We're not going to put that
on AT&T, either: our Blackberry Curve made much clearer calls at the
same time, in the same place. Reception leaves something to be
desired. It's complicated to dial, difficult to send text messages on,
and missing all sorts of features that are basically assumed to be in
most high-end multimedia phones nowadays."

Where have I ever defended the iPhone's quality?
Wherever you attacked the people who were criticizing it.
Since you defer to PC Magazine now, I supplied a couple more of their
quotes for you agree with.
Interesting that you now want to claim that I have to agree with every
opinion the PC Magazine holds
You cited them as an authority for your quote. You can't qualify
their authority to exist only as long as they write what you like to
read.
when you won't defer to the facts
referenced at the very same internet usage statistics site you claimed
proved that the Mac's market share must have declined...
No such instance or circumstance exists.
