What is CCheck

Hello All,
Here is a statement from our customer.
"The 286 code is Intel compiler error free, but NOT Ccheck error/
warning free. (Since Intel compiler is very old, they started to use
Ccheck in addition to find more hidden issues)."

Is CCheck a utility programm to find error / warning in the C code.
Having said that, what difference CCheck has with a compiler.
