I am guessing this is what happened:

You ran the EFI update and then, based on your missing
something you later claimed was obvious, you let your battery
drain

Why would you 'guess' this?

Well, you could have made the whole thing up but I am giving you the benefit
of the doubt.

Yes, I could have made it all up.... which doesn't answer the question I asked
you regarding why you 'guessed' what you did.

... and you simply made up the claims about your
computer booting and launching programs slowly: note how you
won't talk about that claim now.

i won't talk about it?

You have avoided it.

Show where I have "avoided it". Being that I am talking about it... and have
talked about it since the beginning of this thread... that'll be a bit on the
difficult side for you to do while staying within the realm of reality;)

Yes... though you now have...

Fact: I never avoided talking about my "computer booting and launching programs
slowly" - I started the thread noting that observation and I'm still talking
about how I noted it.

Fact: You have yet to show me avoiding talking about my "computer booting and
launching programs slowly" - you just keep asserting it with no proof at all.
There is a reason for this, you are unable to produce proof for this claim;)

Fact: I pointed to another person on the internet that mentioned they had " a
shocking delay on everything" after performing the update in question.

FWIW... a PRAM reset had my computer booting faster than it did prior to
the
EFI update (I've only rebooted it once or twice since then so I don't know
if
it'll stay this way or not)... and the apps are now back to booting like
they
did... (I wish Illustrator didn't take so dam long).

Adobe products in general have poor installers and take forever to launch...
and spew files. Good to hear your system is now working.

You used the wrong word when
you said your battery was "dead" and are simply not willing
to admit to it or your other ignorant mistakes.

The "wrong word"?

Yes. You meant drained.

A "dead" battery is a commonly accepted way to refer to a battery that has been
"drained" of its charge... (see below for "support" ).

When my battery is at 0% I call it "dead"... and I see nothing "wrong"
about
using the word "dead" to describe such a condition... no matter how many
delusions you may have to the contrary;)

A drained battery is not dead

It's "dead" with respect to the charge it once contained (don't say I didn't
"teach" you anything today - no, I don't expect the lesson to stick ;)

- it is merely drained - unless it it not
charging the way it should. You have later said the battery was not at
fault but the indictor in the OS... so the battery was not dead.

Not a big deal - you used the wrong word

Actually... when the topic is batteries and the word in question is the word
"dead"... it's common to refer to a "drained" battery as a "dead" battery... in
fact, there is even an online dictionary definition supporting this position...
along with many other commonly accepted definitions for the word "dead":

dead 29
Definition: drained of electric charge; discharged; "a dead battery"; "left the
lights on and came back to find the battery drained"

http://ardictionary.com/Dead/711

... I think you have made it clear
what you meant... though you react to your mistakes poorly:

I didn't make a mistake... I merely used a word in a commonly accepted manner
that you are obviously unfamiliar with. You should probably get out more;)

What "ignorant mistakes" did I make that you feel I should be admitting to?

The one in discussion...

Which mistake are you referring to "in discussion"?

but if you want to admit to your other ignorant
mistakes I would appreciate that as well.

You also talked
about your battery being dead in relation to these problems
but now deny that you did the updates using battery power.

I "now" deny it?

Yes. Clearly.

Great... so show where I ever indicated otherwise.
Fact: I *never* said I did the update "using" battery power.
Oops! LOL!

Maybe you did... maybe you were just unable stick to one
topic... it does not really matter.

Maybe you're just confused...

Well, with your changing story and use of the incorrect words, sure... you
have not been clear.

i didn't change a thing... and I didn't use the word "dead" incorrectly... as
you seem to believe.
