How many newbies looking to buy their first computer
actually realise a Mac doesn't run Windows out of the box?
Newbies who never used a computer at school, work, a library, a friend's or
relative's house, or an Internet cafe?
Where are you going to find such people? In OuterMongolia?
While you might be so out of touch with general humanity to now know people
who have little if any experience with computers, there are quite a few
people like that.
Even those with some experience often have experience only in a setting
where someone else defined what programs they could use and how and where
they did not have to install software or even know that there are different
pieces of software or even have the concept of what software is.

Teachers open the door but you must walk through it yourself.
