I can just see Edwin opening Logic Pro 7 for the first time and going Duh!

The interface was a bit on the convoluted side IMO... but apparently Logic 8
fixes that while halving the price! I'm seriously thinking about getting it...



Mine just came today. The interface is much cleaner and so far I think it is a lot easier to learn and use. It STILL comes with a full set of documentation, something that almost every other software company provides in a shitty PDF file these days. One thing I found out though: If you are upgrading from Logic 6 or 7 rather than buying a full version you STILL have to keep the shitty old XSKey installed because otherwise it will come up with a screen asking you to input an old serial number which you won't have if you are using 7 since the key took the place of it. If you are doing a new rather than upgrade installation all you have to use is the serial number provided and NO KEY!!! All in all so far it looks like 199 bucks well spent though.
