Am I upset? Of course not. I *knew* it would happen. I didn't know
precisely when or by how much, but I knew it could be soon and a
lot.

High end electronics are like that and if you don't like that, I
don't
see how you can ever buy anything that falls in this category.

This appears to have created a new category.

LOL! Gee, Steve... what makes it a "new category" to have high end
electronics drop in price?

The fact that it's a new twist on a device in the market (and a totally
new
device for the company which introduced it) where it then dropped by
1/3
in
a 2 month period, yet, isn't being replaced by a newer version and
was,
reportedly, selling very well. If you need more help, just ask.

Gee, nobody had an iPhone before Apple

Very good, Snit... but that's not really relevant to what I'm talking
about.
Oh well;)

The iPhone certainly is in the category of "high end electronics"... even
if
you think it created a new category.

When you leave the pre-stated category behind and define your "category"
so
narrowly as to include *one* product then you conclude there is nothing
else
in that category.

Feel free to show what else falls into the category I defined any time
you'd
like to.

Gee, I state that you left the pre-stated category behind and defined your
own to exclude all other products, you respond by asking me what else is
included in your contrived category.

And you couldn't answer what else falls into the category I defined...

Gee, Steve, you contrive a category to include one item and show shock that
other items are not included. Brilliant!

Now can you get back to the comments from before you made your own catagory?

High end electronics are like that and if you don't like that,
I don't see how you can ever buy anything that falls in this
category.

Notice the category in question - high end electronics. Not exclusive of
the iPhone. Really.

thanks
for tacitly supporting my position.

Such a strong position from you - you can leave topics behind and contrive
categories of one!

I'll still leave the door open for you to "defend" your position... that is,
when you actually get one;)

What comment of mine do you think needs defending?

LOL!

Once again, Steve, you show you did not understand what you read.

Of course, this would necessitate you understanding it first... which
will undoubtedly be a huge barrier for you.

LOL! The irony! Too damned funny!

It is... had you provided something like an "actual" answer I wouldn't be
laughing at you quite so hard right now;)

Round and round you go, Steve... but will you ever get back to the fact that
when I states that you left the pre-stated category behind and defined your
own to exclude all other products, you respond by asking me what else is
included in your contrived category.

You, clearly, did not understand what you read.
